2025 Yoga Calendar
Inspired by Elle D'Amico's yoga students, her poem, I Would Practice Anywhere," was written and then created into a 2025 wall calendar. Illustrated by accomplished artist, Aura Vanderwal, each month features an animated, hand painted image to accompany the playful verses. (Read entire poem below)
I Would Practice Anywhere
By Elle D’Amico
I would practice anywhere, on the floor or in a chair.
I would practice in the cold, Sun Salutes then Forward Fold.
A blue, a green, or pink yoga mat, on my face I’ve fallen flat.
I don’t care if people stare, I would practice anywhere.
I would practice in a class; or better yet, barefoot on grass.
I would practice when I’m sad, and on days I’m feeling mad.
I would practice on a boat; I would practice with a goat.
In my pj’s and messy hair, I would practice anywhere.
I would practice in the rain; take lotus pose for my brain.
I would practice on a log; strengthening my downward dog.
I would practice in a sling, I would practice on a swing.
It doesn’t matter what I wear, I would practice anywhere.
I would practice on the wall, I would practice on a ball.
I would practice in a bed; I would practice on my head.
I would practice in the breeze, with sun and sand and swaying trees.
I love the smell of ocean air; I would practice anywhere.
I would practice day or night; or afternoon if that felt right.
I would practice through my tears; fatigue and stress just disappears.
I would practice for my mind; all my worries left behind.
Yoga makes me more aware; I would practice anywhere.
I would practice when confused, bored or sore, or feeling bruised.
No matter where my head is at, from chaos to calm on my mat.
And while my mind will always roam, practice brings my Spirit home.
Devotion, a journey, my time for prayer; I would practice anywhere.
Except naked yoga. Not there.

Sound Bath - July
Also known as sound meditation, a sound bath is a healing experience that activates the parasympathetic nervous system and modifies brainwave states. Join Kyla Campbell for an experience that promotes deep relaxation, balances energy, and provides opportunities for physical, mental, emotional, and energetic release. Through the various tones and vibrations of singing bowls, vocal toning, and other instruments, the body is supported in shifting into a higher frequency. In this state, miraculous changes can occur. www.ritualunion.ca |
