A Quiet Sanctuary Inspired by Nature
Namaskar Yoga Studio 2.0 was designed to create a quiet, calm and peaceful space to pause, release and breathe.
Our intention is to hold space for every body, offer accessible yoga and meditation, and share our teachings with care and compassion.
Namaskar is a Sanskrit word that is used as a greeting of respect. It translates into a hello that equates to, “I humble myself before you,” and is accompanied by the action of holding palms together.

Our Vision
We cultivate an environment where people feel safe and comfortable to show up exactly as they are, and experience moments of silence, stillness and self-reflection through accessible yoga and meditation.

Our Promise
Space | to breathe, receive & feel
Peace | a calm mind, relaxed body, and an open heart
Connection | a deeper knowing of yourself and an enriched perception of your world
Our Values
Gratitude | For the big things and the small things. Every. Single. Day.
We believe that practicing gratitude daily raises our energetic vibration, aligns us with Source and declares to the Universe that we are thankful for all that we already have, and for the unlimited potential and abundance available within us and to us.
Humility | Stay humble while owning your magnificence.
We believe that teaching yoga and meditation is not a hierarchy but rather, a sharing of knowledge and wisdom from our own professional and personal experience. We celebrate our unique, special talents and gifts -- while staying humble, grounded and detached from the outcome.
Honour | Navigate life with a strong moral compass.
Do the right thing and do your best. We believe that our intentions, words and actions are the foundation of trust.
Kindness | Help others. How can you serve today ? Be kind even when no one is watching. We have no idea what someone else may be going through.
Self-awareness | Own your sh*t.
How you show up in the world is a choice. We believe that everyone is responsible for their thoughts, actions and behaviours.
Untameable | Be you – authentic and without apology.
Your life force - the energy that breathes for you and through you, is the very same energy expressing itself, as you. Return to your True Self and be a Light in this world.

🐾 Animals in Studio Policy

At Namaskar Yoga Studio, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all of our students.
Service Dogs
• We gladly welcome certified service dogs as defined under the BC Guide Dog and Service Dog Act. Please give us as much advance notice as possible.
• Service dogs must remain leashed, quiet, and under control at all times.
• During class, they should stay beside their person's mat and not interfere with other students or props.
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs)
• Emotional support animals are not automatically permitted in public spaces in BC.
• If you require an ESA for medical reasons, please contact us in advance. We will review each request individually and make every effort to find a reasonable accommodation (such as a quieter class or private session).
Consideration for All Students
• Some members of our community live with allergies, asthma, or animal-related fears. We balance everyone's needs with care.
• If an animal will be present in class, we will do our best to notify students in advance.
• To protect studio hygiene, we ask that animals do not sit on props, mats, or furniture.
Our Commitment - We honour the diverse needs of our students while maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive practice space. If you have questions or require an accommodation, please connect with us—we are here to listen and support you.

Elle D'Amico
Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Elle is a yoga & meditation teacher, writer and the founder of Namaskar Yoga Studio.
She has been teaching yoga and meditation for more than a decade, creating classes, workshops, trainings and retreats. Her intention is to guide students towards a deeper knowing (remembrance) of themselves, through yoga and meditation.
Elle's path as a teacher has always been shaped by resilience. After a near death experience, she emerged more humble, authentic and compassionate. It further deepened her connection to Source, which continues to guide her life, and inspire the way she teaches and writes.
