Membership  Policies

Effective January 1, 2026

Single Auto-Renew Memberships

(Bi-Weekly/Monthly)​​

• Holds are permitted for up to 14 days at a time

• Members may request a hold up to 3 times per calendar year

• A $15 hold fee applies each time a hold is activated

• Hold requests must be submitted in writing at least 3 days before the next billing date

• Memberships automatically resume on the agreed return date

• 14 days’ written notice to cancel membership​

 

Extended or open-ended holds are not offered.

Family & Friends

Auto-Renew

Bi-Weekly Memberships

​

• F&F Auto-Renew are not eligible for holds

• F&F Auto-Renew are not equivalent to Single Auto-Renew membership and do not carry the same perks

• 14 days’ written notice to cancel membership​

Annual Passes

​

• Annual passes are not eligible for holds

• Annual passes are not equivalent to Auto-Renew Memberships and do not carry the same perks

• Annual passes are not eligible for 2 free guest passes per month

• Annual passes are discontinued and will not be renewed

“Annual passes are discounted for commitment and value. Members who require flexibility are encouraged to choose an Auto-Renew Membership option."

Cancellation Policy 

​

All memberships at Namaskar Yoga require two weeks' notice to cancel.

 

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and access remains active through that date.

​

If a cancellation is submitted within the two-week notice window, the upcoming billing cycle will serve as the final payment, and no further charges will occur afterward.

​

This policy allows us to plan classes, staffing, and schedules responsibly while offering members full access through their final paid period.

 

Please note: cancelling before a billing date does not override the two-week notice requirement.

Class Pass Validity & Expiration**​

​

• All class passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

• Unused classes expire automatically at the end of the 12-month period

 

HOWEVER

​

• Expired class passes may be reactivated one time for a $30 reactivation fee

• Reactivated passes are valid for 30 days only from date of reactivation

• After this period, any remaining classes are forfeited

 

 

No extensions are offered beyond this one-time reactivation option.

Membership Perks

Membership perks align with the type of membership selected:

Single Auto-Renew Membership

​

• Eligibility for membership holds as outlined above.

• Namaskar Single Auto-Renew Members receive various discounts at a variety of businesses in and around downtown Parksville.  Please see details below for participating local businesses.

• Namaskar Single Auto-Renew Members receive 20% off at Bayside Resort Restaurant as follows when they present the key fob assigned to their account:  -This discount is to be applied only to Single Auto Renew Members NOT any guests that may be with them unless they too are Single Auto-Renew Members and have key fob with them (discounts are not valid with other promotional discounts (ie. Happy Hour, Buffets etc) and are not valid on Alcoholic Beverages)

• Two free Guest Passes per calendar month not to be rolled over to next month (email marlene@namaskaryoga.ca -- to avoid disappointment, give at least 48 hrs notice).

​Shared Friends & Family Membership

​

• Not eligible for holds as outlined above

• No additional perks or discounts

• Not eligible for 2 free guest passes per month

Annual Passes

​

• Unlimited classes for the duration of the pass

• No holds permitted

• No automatic discounts on in-house workshops or with local businesses 

• No 2 free guest passes per month

• Annual Passes will not be renewed – they are discontinued please reach out to management
