Acupuncture and Restorative Yoga Journey
Luisa Quezada (200 E-RYT,YACEP\RPYT)
and
Tira Mills (Registered Acupuncturist)
Join us as the seasons shift and our energy follows.
In this session, you’ll receive community-style acupuncture—a gentle, deeply restorative treatment offered in a shared space. This collective setting allows us to tap into the power of group healing, where individual stillness supports the whole. We'll use points that support emotional release, and deepen your breath and presence.
Whether you're brand new to acupuncture or a long-time recipient, this is an opportunity to settle into yourself and attune to the quieter rhythms of the season—together.
Restorative Yoga for Reflection & Refinement - yoga and in life, structure creates freedom—and through thoughtful use of props, breath, and geometry, we build a container that allows the nervous system to unwind and the body to reorganize itself.
With poetic metaphor, precise placement, and a touch of seasonal ritual, this practice is both deeply grounding and expansive, helping you settle into the wisdom of the season with grace.

Five Days of Rest - A 5-day Yin Series
with Elle
This is not a stretch class. It is a nervous system focused practice designed to help the body slow down, soften, and rest.
Your nervous system is constantly responding to conditions. Stress, pressure, uncertainty, overstimulation, lack of rest, and constant output can leave the body in a prolonged state of readiness — even long after the stressful period has passed.
Many people live this way without realizing it. Tired but unable to fully rest. Tense without knowing why. Always preparing for what comes next. This series is designed to interrupt that pattern through repetition, stillness, predictability, support, and time.
Each 90-minute class includes gentle long-held yin postures, low visual and audio stimulus, weighted sandbags, spacious pacing, and very little demand.
The weighted sandbags are used intentionally throughout the practice to help the body feel more supported and settled. Gentle pressure on the body can act as a safety signal to the nervous system.
When the body feels held, supported, and physically contained, it often becomes easier for muscles to soften, breathing to slow, and tension to decrease.
Many people do not realize how much readiness they are carrying until the body is finally given permission to stop holding itself up so strongly.
Over five consecutive days, the body begins to recognize the environment as predictable and familiar. The same room. The same sequence. The same pace.
Over time, many people notice deeper rest, softer breathing, less tension, improved sleep, emotional settling, a quieter mind.
Not because they are "trying harder" to relax —
but because the body is no longer preparing so intensely.

Waves of Renewal: A Yoga & Reiki Mini Retreat by the Sea
with Luisa Quezada, Reiki Master
Join Luisa Quezeda (Reiki Master) for a deeply nourishing 4-hour ocean-side experience designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect to yourself.
Held in the natural beauty of the ocean gardens of the Bayside Resort in Parksville and peaceful indoor space of Namaskar Yoga Studio , this mini retreat invites you into the healing rhythm of nature — where breath, body, and energy return to flow
In the wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda, water (Apas) teaches us how to soften resistance and allow life to move through us with ease. In the Yoga Sutras, Santosha reminds us that peace is not found in perfect circumstances, but in the practice of arriving fully in the present moment.
This retreat is an invitation to embody both:
to flow like water… and to rest in enoughness.
Throughout the afternoon, you will be guided through:
-
Gentle, breath-led movement inspired by the ocean
-
Grounding practices to regulate the nervous system
-
Ocean breathwork to deepen presence and calm
-
Restorative yoga supported by Reiki healing energy
-
Meditation inspired by Santosha (contentment & inner steadiness)
-
Journaling and reflection to integrate your experience
This is a space to release what feels heavy, soften what has become tight, and return to the natural intelligence of your body and breath.
Like the waves, we remember: nothing is fixed, nothing is forced — everything is always becoming.
You don’t need to be flexible or experienced in yoga — you only need to be willing to slow down and receive.
What to Bring: Your yoga mat, A bottle of water, A light snack for yourself (we will have a mindful break together), Comfortable layers for both indoor and outdoor practice, An open heart and willingness to rest.
Let this be your pause.
Your reset.
Your return to flow.

Sound Bath Journey
with Kyla Campbell
A sound bath offers an intimate experience of deep rest and renewal. Rooted in ancient traditions of sound as medicine and shaped by an embodied, heart-led approach, each offering is as unique as the people present.
Through singing bowls, gong, vocal toning, and other resonant instruments, vibration moves through the body, mind, and spirit, supporting balance and expanded awareness.
For some, this is a deeply soulful experience. Some may notice physical or emotional release, while others may journey into expanded or transpersonal states of consciousness. Each experience unfolds in its own way, guided by an innate movement toward wholeness.
