The one thing I’ve tried to avoid my entire life… is asking me to step forward
Much of me has spent a lifetime staying just out of reach.
Close enough to do the work.
Close enough to build something real.
But never fully seen.
Do the work… and then disappear.
That’s always been the rhythm.
And it worked.
Until now.
Because something has shifted —
not around me, but through me.
The work is asking for something it never has before.
Not more effort.
Not more discipline.
Not better ideas.
Visibility.
The kind of visibility that feels like being stark naked on a stage.
The kind that doesn’t let you step back in once you’ve stepped out.
And I feel it immediately.
The fear.
I want to hide.
To soften what I’m saying.
To leave parts out.
To keep something for myself so I’m not fully exposed.
There’s a shyness to it.
An almost embarrassment.
Like being seen through a microscope.
And still — I can't stop.
Because the same thing I’ve spent my life avoiding…
is now the exact place the work is asking me to go.
Fully seen.
No buffer.
No way to take it back once it’s out.
Part of me recoils.
And part of me knows.
It's time to release.
Not a breakthrough.
Not a performance.
Not something to prove or get right.
Just the price of a dream coming to life.
